Serenica is the online platform of Meeting Matters Clinic in Islamabad. We list psychologists with enough detail that you can tell, before you book, whether someone is likely to understand you — your concern, your language, and the context you live in.
Why Serenica exists
Most people don't struggle with the decision. They struggle with the directory.
By the time someone starts looking for a psychologist, they have usually already made the hard decision. What stops them next is a list of names — qualifications they can't interpret, no sense of who works with what, and no way to tell whether a person will understand the family, faith or cultural pressures wrapped around the problem.
So we built the listing we wished existed. Every profile states the areas that psychologist actually works in, the languages they hold sessions in, their approach, their availability and their fee — before you commit to anything. You can filter by the concern you want help with, and by the language you want to be understood in.
Serenica grew out of Meeting Matters Clinic, a psychological services centre in Islamabad. The clinic brings the clinical judgement; the platform makes it reachable — including for Pakistanis and South Asians living abroad who want care that doesn't need the context explained first.
How we verify psychologists
Nobody appears in the directory unchecked
A profile is not self-published. Every psychologist submits documentation and is reviewed before clients can see or book them.

Qualifications, professional background, the areas they work in, the languages they offer sessions in, and their availability.

They submit credentials and identity documents
The documents required depend on where they are registered to practise — there are separate pathways for Pakistan, the UK, the US, the UAE, Canada, Australia and Saudi Arabia.

We review the submission
Our team checks what has been provided and comes back for clarification or further documents where anything is missing.

Only then is the profile published
An application that is incomplete or unverified never reaches the directory, so every psychologist you can book has been through this.
What we do differently
Language is a filter, not a footnote
Therapy works better in the language you think in. You can filter for Urdu, English and several regional languages, and every profile lists what that psychologist offers.
Culture is part of the clinical picture
Family expectations, faith, migration and community pressure shape what people bring to a session. Psychologists here are used to that being part of the work, not an aside.
Fees are visible before you book
Each psychologist's fee is on their profile in advance. No enquiry required to find out what a session costs.

Meeting Matters Clinic is a psychological services centre founded in Islamabad in 2010 by Muhammad Naushad Anjum, a UK and UAE registered psychologist. Serenica extends that work online — the clinic provides the clinical foundation and the standards its psychologists are held to, and the platform provides the reach.
