About Ammarah Batool
I am a trauma-informed Associate Clinical Psychologist and Child & Adolescent Mental Health Practitioner with over a decade of experience and more than 2,000 hours of supervised individual and group psychotherapy across clinical, educational, and research settings. I have worked both in person and online across the UK, Europe, Pakistan, New Zealand, and the Middle East, supporting clients from diverse cultural and psychological backgrounds.
I hold a Master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from London Metropolitan University, alongside eight advanced qualifications in Psychotherapy and Counselling (CAT) from the University of Oxford. I also hold the National Professional Qualification in Leading Behaviour and Culture (NPQLBC) reflecting advanced expertise in trauma-informed leadership, behaviour strategy, and systemic culture change.
My clinical practice specialises in trauma recovery, neurodiversity-affirming practice, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, systemic family and couple therapy, addiction, and organisational mental health. I am formally trained in clinical supervision and currently practise as a Clinical Trial Research Therapist, delivering research-based psychotherapeutic interventions within regulated clinical trials, including preparation, dosing, and integration phases, with a strong emphasis on ethical practice, safeguarding, and risk management.
I am also a TEAM TEACH–accredited Positive Behaviour Trainer and have held senior leadership roles within London schools, leading behaviour, safeguarding, pastoral care, and wellbeing strategies. My work is grounded in ethical, culturally responsive, and client-centred practice, with a commitment to reflective supervision, evidence-informed intervention, and sustainable individual and systemic change.
