About Zaib un Nisa Khalid

I am a Clinical Psychologist with an MS in Clinical Psychology and experience working with individuals dealing with a wide range of emotional, psychological, and interpersonal concerns. My clinical work includes anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, panic, phobias, overthinking, relationship difficulties, work-life imbalance, emotional dysregulation, hopelessness, and difficulties with coping and everyday functioning.

My approach to therapy is warm, empathetic, non-judgmental, and individualized. I believe that therapy is not about giving people a list of instructions or simply focusing on symptoms. It is about understanding the person as a whole, their experiences, thoughts, emotions, relationships, coping patterns, and the circumstances influencing their mental health.

In my clinical work, I use psychological assessment, clinical interviewing, case formulation, psychoeducation, psychological interventions, and practical guidance according to each individual's needs and concerns. I aim to create a safe and comfortable space where clients can speak openly, feel heard, and work towards meaningful and sustainable change.

I work with adults experiencing personal, emotional, relational, and work-related difficulties, and I particularly value helping clients understand the patterns behind what they are experiencing rather than simply trying to manage the symptoms on the surface.

I have also completed additional training in Clinical Nutrition, which has contributed to my broader interest in the relationship between psychological wellbeing, lifestyle, and overall health. However, my primary professional focus remains clinical psychology and mental health.

I believe seeking psychological support does not mean that something is “wrong” with you. Sometimes, we simply reach a point where our usual ways of coping are no longer enough. Therapy can provide the space to pause, understand yourself better, and learn healthier ways of dealing with what life brings.
